Set on a hillside a mile outside the picturesque village of Shirenewton, it has fabulous, uninterrupted views of the countryside beyond & walks directly from your door. Shirenewton is proud of its Best Kept Village award and four friendly inns with restaurants, and is within a 7 mile radius of the lovely market towns and castles of Chepstow, Raglan, and Usk.

We are perfectly positioned for a relaxing break with hill, river and forest walks. Golf, cycling, fishing, horse riding are all available locally, as is the challenge of the Wye Valley Walk and Offa’s Dyke Path! Only 30 minutes from Historic Monmouth and Abergavenny; gateway to the Brecon Beacons National Park. Bristol, Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan with its lovely beaches are an easy drive away and Chepstow station offers more travel possibilities.

The cabin is newly refurbished, freshly painted and deceptively spacious. It caters for those who enjoy comfort, peace and seclusion. It also has wonderful views from all aspects.

The front door opens onto an airy, well-arranged open plan living area with a small, tiled hall area for hanging coats, and storing walking boots… It has a brand new, well-equipped, L-shaped fitted kitchen, an attractive tiled floor and a large window overlooking the side patio, an ideal placed to catch the late afternoon sun!

The lounge and dining areas are bright, airy and comfortably furnished, with patio doors looking out over a private paved area with patio furniture, and panoramic countryside views beyond. The lounge has seating for 4 with a comfy sofa and armchair, flat screen TV, coffee table and table lamp, along with a small selection of books, games and DVDs.

The bedroom looks out over a good-sized private lawn, to the rolling hills and the village of Itton. It is tastefully furnished with bedside tables, wardrobe, a dressing-table and wall-mounted reading lights above the beds. Arranged to suit 2 people in twin 3ft beds or a super-king double option if preferred. Beds are made ready with freshly - laundered quality linen, towels and extra bedding for the colder months is always available.

The newly refurbished, en-suite shower room has a large, fully-tiled, walk-in shower, heated towel rail, toilet and basin and a window enjoying far reaching views!
